We are a local dance school looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join us as a class assistant from 7th September 2026, on Monday's 3.55-6pm.
You would be supporting the dance teacher ensuring children are listening, following instructions and focused and helping them if needed.
The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys and is good at interacting with children. Someone encouraging, trustworthy and who is good at using their initiative. It is incredibly important that you can commit to the weekly classes throughout term time for consistency and reliability.
Dance experience would be great, ideally within Street Dance but this is not essential.
This is a great opportunity for someone to build their teaching or dance experience with children whilst being part of a friendly and supportive dance family.
The position would be on a freelance self employed basis and the candidate would need to have or be willing to get a DBS.
