Post No. EPT1003 - Classroom Teacher - St Michael’s RC Primary School
The Headteacher and Governing Body of St. Michael's RC Primary School wish to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and highly effective practitioner who is committed to children's learning, well-being and the raising of standards, as well as a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school. This is a full-time post for 1 year from 1st September 2026 until August 2027.
We are seeking a practitioner who:
is a practicing Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos and practices of our school.- is committed to the safeguarding of pupils.
- is a dedicated and highly effective teacher with high expectations of themselves and of each child.
- can work well in a team, to organise, manage and motivate others.
- has the ability to build good relationships with children, parents, governors and the wider community.
- has a personal philosophy centred around the well-being and inclusion of all pupils.
- has the ability to inspire a love of learning in children.
- will contribute effectively to the wider life of the school.
- has a strong work ethic, being reliable, punctual and who approach work with energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
The appointment process will involve a lesson observation, following which successful candidates will be invited to attend the second part of the process, which will involve an interview with the Headteacher and Governing Body.
