We are looking to recruit a Trainee Smart Home Sales Advisor to provide quality customer service in our 5000sq/ft Smart Home Superstore.
This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge of new technologies such as Home Automation, Cinema Rooms, Smart Lighting, Gaming Room technologies, and Modern Security Systems, as they arrive on the market; and enable you to demonstrate your passion for the ever-growing smart technology market.
Key Responsibilities:
To show enthusiasm and appetite for new smart technologies
Represent the company in a professional manner, whilst developing relationships with new and existing customers both public and trade
Deliver high levels of customer service
Confidently and enthusiastically demonstrate how products function and benefit customers
Keep up to date with product information through personal experience and ongoing training, to increase knowledge base
Processing sales through our inhouse EPOS system
Ensure stock levels remains accurate through inventory management
Updating in-store displays
Maintain a safe working environment by following the company health & safety policy and adhering to company policies.
Maintain a clean and tidy store, including general cleaning & tidying up of all parts of the building
Any other ad hoc duties delegated from Smart Home Supervisor as and when required
Requirements:
High level of enthusiasm for working with the latest technology
Some knowledge of smart home technology is preferred, however, training will be provided
Good understanding of IT systems and networking is preferred but not essential
GCSEs in both Maths and English
Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
Have a pleasant, helpful outlook, be well spoken with a smart presentable appearance
Building strong relationship skills and pride yourself in your ability to deliver excellent customer service
Hours of Work: This is a part-time position, working 09:00 – 15:00 on Saturday’s and one day during the week (Monday – Friday) 08:30 – 17:00.
Salary: National minimum/living wage.
