We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant and already experienced hospitality team. In this role, you’ll support the overall operation of the restaurant, lead from the floor, and help deliver the fun, welcoming vibe Maxwell’s is famous for. You’ll motivate the team, champion great service, and ensure every guest leaves happier than they arrived. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership skills while contributing to a lively, guest‑focused environment where people feel valued and cared for.
Responsibilities
- Support the other Managers in overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Lead the floor with confidence, warmth, and a sense of fun, keeping the vibe high throughout service
- Supervise front‑of‑house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth, efficient service and consistent food quality
- Uphold food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Deliver standout guest service, addressing concerns promptly and creating memorable experiences
- Coordinate with bartenders to ensure efficient bar service, including stepping behind the bar when needed
- Foster a positive, team‑focused culture where staff feel motivated, supported, and proud of their work

Requirements
- Proven supervising or team‑lead experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices preferred
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation
- Familiarity with front‑of‑house operations, bar service, and guest interaction
- A genuine passion for hospitality, great communication skills, and a positive, energetic attitude

Pay: £43,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
