North Devon Resort is a large holiday resort in Ilfracombe, which includes a variety of holiday services and commercial areas including one swimming pool, Bar & Restaurant, café & shop.
We are now looking to recruit a welcoming, professional, highly organised, and motivated team members with experience in a similar setting.
This is very much a hands-on role in a fast-paced, customer facing environment.
To be the face of our holidays you will need to be highly presentable, have excellent communication skills and a positive problem-solving attitude.
Key responsibilities:
· Providing strong customer service serving customers in the café and shop either individually or as part of a team
· Prepare and serve a selection of hot and cold beverages.
· Provide table service for breakfast, lunches, tea, coffee and cakes ensuring an excellent customer service.
· Communicating with the main kitchen to ensure smooth operation of small kitchen
· To effectively clear and reset tables in a timely manner ready for our next guests
· To maintain the cleanliness of the café, clearing and cleaning in a timely manner.
· To work with daily check sheets to keep cleanliness at the highest of standards.
· Ensure that the shop is fully stocked and presentable.
· Stock rotation
· Cash handling and till use
· Efficient and friendly service
We will ensure you are fully trained to feel confident helping our guests.
The role includes working evenings, weekends, bank and school holidays across 7 days of the week.
Hours: variable
Contract type: Zero hours
Salary: dependent on experience
Pay: From £12.75 per hour
