We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business near Southampton!
You’ll be part of an established maintenance team, keeping production machinery running efficiently through planned maintenance, reactive repairs and electrical fault-finding.
This role would suit an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with 18th Edition, strong fault-finding skills and previous manufacturing or industrial experience.
In return, you’ll receive a generous package including a competitive salary, monthly production bonuses, shift allowance and overtime at time & ½.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What you’ll be doing
- Planned maintenance and reactive repairs on production machinery
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Electrical servicing, installations and repairs
- Fault-finding on 3-phase equipment, motors and starters
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Support machinery setups, changeovers and new equipment installations
- Assist with factory improvement projects and continuous improvement
- Complete maintenance records via the CMMS system
- Maintain high Health & Safety standards
Hours
Monday-Friday, rotating shifts: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
Pay
£40,500 - £46,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Monthly Performance Bonuses
Overtime paid at time ½
Skills/Experience Required
- Electrical engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent)
- An 18th Edition qualification
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PLC systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics & technical drawings
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
