We are an online retailer based in Lancing who are looking to recruit people to add to our warehouse team.
Pay will start from £12.71 per hour based on a non-fixed and variable weekly rota. We currently operate Monday - Friday 8:30 to 17:00, however during busy periods we may also operate on the weekends and outside of normal stated hours.
Due to the nature of our business we are looking to recruit a person with expert attention to detail, as it is extremely important that customers receive their orders accurately, undamaged and on time.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Goods Out:
- picking stock efficiently and accurately,
- packing orders in a competent manner so as to ensure the customer receives their goods in a well presented and satisfactory condition.
Goods In:
- receiving of goods and unloading of vehicles,
- checking on goods onto our system. Packing food products within our factory:
- general production duties
- packing our own brand foods from bulk sacks into smaller bags.
- ensuring high levels of housekeeping and food hygiene is adhered to.
- checking packed goods onto our system.Warehouse maintenance:
- cleaning and general maintenance of the warehouse floor,
- stock inventory and organisation under the management of warehouse managers.
It may be of interest to potential applicants to know that this role offers the capacity to develop and evolve. Our company anticipates that this role may develop past general distribution duties of goods in / out depending on the skill set that the new employee brings.
