About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and practical Health & Safety professional to support our forklift truck business on a flexible, short-term basis, however could lead to a permanent, longer opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and can help us review, develop and embed effective health and safety processes across our workshop and field service operations.
This is a flexible position that can be offered on a self-employed, employed, contract or temporary basis. We are happy to work around the right individual's availability and existing commitments.
Why We're Recruiting

The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Operations, Workshop Manager and Engineering teams to ensure our risk assessments are practical, understood by employees and fully embedded into our day-to-day business activities.
Although this is initially a short-term project role, there is potential for further ongoing work, or a more permanent arrangement in the future, for the right person.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Consultant/Representative who can help us strengthen our health and safety framework, with a particular focus on our field service engineers and workshop operations.
This role is not just about producing paperwork. We need someone who can create practical, effective risk assessments and ensure they are embedded into our day-to-day operations and understood by our engineering teams.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently and deliver results within agreed timescales.
What We're Looking For
