The Truro is looking for friendly, confident and reliable Front of House Team Members to join our Croydon restaurant. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
As a Front of House Team Member, you will play an important role in providing every guest with welcoming, attentive and professional service.
Main responsibilities:
- Welcoming and seating customers
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Using the till and processing payments
- Serving food and drinks efficiently
- Checking that customers are satisfied throughout their visit
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant
- Communicating allergies and special requests correctly
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider restaurant team
- Remaining calm and professional during busy services
What we are looking for:

- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- The ability to travel reliably to and from the Croydon restaurant, including after late shifts
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, although training can be provided
- The legal right to work in the United Kingdom
Job types: Full-time and part-time
Pay: From £12.71 per hour, with a higher rate available depending on experience
