Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating arrangements to foster a friendly atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide attentive guest services by checking on tables regularly and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setups and side stations
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all health standards are met or exceeded
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery efficiently
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables without compromising service quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
