Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Company Ltd is a wholesale confectionery and bakery Company supplying hundreds of food businesses across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
We are a small family-owned Company, passionate about providing bespoke tailor-made products and we are proud that our clients include numerous well-known ice cream brands. Alongside this, we operate an E-Commerce business, to supply smaller volumes of our products and this is branded as Bling Ingredients - https://blingingredients.com/
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Company and support the growth of our sales. With no two days the same, your duties will include:
- Acting as a primary point of contact for sales enquiries for both Pecan Deluxe & Bling Ingredients, driving sales growth and ensuring that customer needs are met. You will handle queries across phone, email & in person with care and efficiency.
- Identifying sales opportunities and pursuing those leads to engage with new customers.
- Understanding existing and future customer needs, our operational capacity to deliver, being aware of upcoming market trends and sharing potential ideas for to diversify our product portfolio.
- Building relationships with our customers in the UK, Europe and the Middle East through effective communication.
- Processing sales orders, costings and sample requests. Supporting the team with creating content for presentations, reports and pricing quotations.
- Attending customer visitors, tradeshows & exhibitions for the Company, supporting colleagues with planning as required.
- Once developed in the role, acting as the direct representative for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer service at all times.
Sales experience is not essential. However, this role would suit someone who has some previous work experience in sales, working to targets and winning new business, but who is still at their point in their career where they are looking to develop further and build a successful long-term future in sales.
From time to time and as your career develops, there will be a need to visit customers in the UK and Europe/Middle East and also support with exhibitions, so the ability to travel as needed will be an essential requirement of the role. Having a full driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential, for any UK travel to visit customers is essential.

- Annual leave – 30 days per year, including bank holidays increasing with long service.

- Hybrid Working – This is an office role, based from Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6PJ). However, following a probationary period, up to 2 days per week from home is permitted.
Working Hours 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
