This is 20 months FTC (ideal start in September and to continue for 20 months until April 2028).

Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Average 40.25 hours per week (6:30am to 7pm)
Shift Pattern: Wednesday–Saturday

Lead and Inspire as a Junior Production Manager at MM Flowers.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager – Stores to join our team and lead our stores production operation.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our production areas operate safely, efficiently, and consistently while delivering against customer requirements and production targets.
You will lead and develop our Section Managers and production teams, including the Terra lines, driving high standards of performance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the day-to-day stores production operation and ensure production plans and targets are achieved.
- Oversee the performance and efficiency of the Terra lines, minimising downtime and maximising output.
- Monitor key production KPIs, including productivity, efficiency, quality, waste, and downtime.
- Lead, coach, and develop Section Managers and production teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure production processes comply with company procedures, SOPs, GMP, health & safety, and quality standards.
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and operating effectively.
- Investigate operational and quality issues, using root cause analysis to identify effective solutions.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve team performance.
- Work collaboratively with Planning, Technical, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments.
- Support the introduction of new products, processes, and improvements with minimal disruption to production.
- Ensure training and development plans are in place and employees have the skills required to perform their roles safely and effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Production Management role within manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of production operations and performance management.
- Experience managing and developing teams, including supervisors or middle management.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing production KPIs and delivering against operational targets.
- Good knowledge of health & safety, quality, and GMP standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Experience within the floral, fresh produce, food, or other perishable goods industry.
- Experience working with automated production lines, such as Terra lines.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as Rubicon.
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects.
