Folia Europe is looking for a reliable, hardworking delivery driver to join our nursery team.
The role is primarily based at our Borehamwood nursery, delivering plants and trees to landscape projects, private gardens, and trade clients. (Deliveries include driving into London to large building sites) Some deliveries will also involve our second site at Bothy Gardens in Wiltshire (SN4).
This is not just a driving job. When not out on deliveries, you’ll be helping around the nursery with loading, organising, moving plants, and general outdoor work.
- The Role Includes
- Delivering plants and trees safely and professionally
- Loading and unloading vans
- Helping prepare orders for dispatch
- Moving and organising nursery stock
- General nursery assistance and outdoor work
- Occasional long-distance deliveries
What We’re Looking For
Minimum
- 5 years of professional driving experience
- Confident driving vans and transporting fragile stock
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Reliable, organised, and punctual
- Friendly with customers and good under pressure
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Full UK driving licence required
Bonus points for:
- Forklift experience
- Nursery or horticultural experience
- Trailer towing experience
