This is a role with responsibilities for Procurement (Internal/External) & Master Data Maintenance We’re looking for someone who can provide efficient procurement support across the business, and work closely with the Head of Strategic Production & Purchasing.
Key Attributes
Main Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Processing Purchase Orders with close attention to detail and ensuring these are approved by the appropriate manager
- Chasing status updates on Purchase orders and aligning dates
- Updating Supplier Contacts/Lead Times/Prices/MOQs
- Raising production orders with close attention to detail on lead times and product master data accuracy
- Out-of-stock reporting and flagging this with the appropriate Departments
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
- Liaising with suppliers to provide excellent customer service in a timely manner
- Producing Internal Procurement Orders
- Stock Analysis
- Bespoke Colour order processing from customer order through to procurement internally
- Foil order processing from customer order through to procurement internally
- Understanding the complexity of the production processes and how each area works and combines with other areas of the business
- Running Daily stock reports for re-ordering
- Master Data updates/amendments where necessary
- Stock Forecasting
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in a Office environment
- Excellent communicative skill
- Great organisational acumen
- High attention to detail
- 5 GCSE (A-C) passes or equivalent
- Experience of SAP B1 – not essential
- Good Knowledge/Skill of Excel (Formulae’s)
Garner Aluminium Extrusions is a privately owned by a local entrepreneur who has a proven track record in starting, developing and growing businesses within the building products sector. The company has invested £9m in a state-of-the-art aluminium extrusion press and processing plant to produce aluminium extrusions. The company is based at Heage, but we eventually plan to relocate to purpose built facilities.
This role will be based at our Firs Works site.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08:30 till 17:00, with an hour for lunch.

Salary dependent upon experience.
