Role: Yard Operative
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (OT available)
Location: Bardon Hill Coalville

We're looking for a Yard Operative/Production Operator who will support production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Label products accurately in line with company standards
- Monitor production processes, replenishing supplies as required
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and counterbalance trucks to move products within the facility
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Conduct equipment checks and report any faults, malfunctions, or safety concerns
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, including PPE requirements
- Awareness of risks associated with hazardous chemicals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, Teams, and telephone)
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
- Innovative thinker with the ability to suggest process improvements
- Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently when required
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items
