Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes by following safety and quality guidelines to ensure food is prepared efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Help with inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies in the kitchen area
- Follow proper food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Support serving staff by preparing orders for delivery or presentation as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy service periods
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to progress and lead a team
- Basic familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food service
- Prior ecperience in a busy pub or restaurant kitchen.

Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
