- Complete audio and acoustic testing to ensure appropriate sound coverage and speech intelligibility.
- Conduct STIPA and STI measurements using an NTi Audio XL2, XL3 or equivalent acoustic analysis equipment.
- Analyse sound levels, background noise, reverberation and speech clarity across different environments.
- Identify, investigate and resolve system, audio, network and configuration faults.
- Provide technical support throughout implementation, commissioning and operational handover.
- Work alongside project, engineering, network and customer teams to ensure successful system integration.
- Produce commissioning records, acoustic test reports and supporting technical documentation.
- Assist with system demonstrations, acceptance testing and customer training.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant technical, safety and security requirements.
- Provide ongoing technical support following the initial system implementation.
Essential Experience

- Experience taking a technical system from installation through commissioning and handover.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Experience producing commissioning documentation and technical test reports.
- Confidence working directly with customers, technical stakeholders and project teams.
Desirable Experience
- Hands-on experience with Zenitel Exigo, ICX-AlphaCom, AlphaCom, Connect Pro or Turbine products.
- Experience using Zenitel commissioning and configuration tools.
- Knowledge of PA/GA, PAVA, voice-alarm or public-address systems.
- Experience conducting audio and acoustic analysis.
- Practical experience using the NTi Audio XL2 or XL3 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer.
- Knowledge of STIPA testing, Speech Transmission Index measurements and speech-intelligibility standards.
- Experience measuring sound pressure levels, frequency response, reverberation and ambient noise.
- Understanding of IP networking, SIP, multicast audio and networked communication systems.
- Experience working within secure, defence, government, industrial or critical-infrastructure environments.
- Current security clearance or the ability to obtain the required level of clearance.
Skills and Attributes
