Trainee Parts Assistant (Temporary with a View to Permanent)
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Trainee Parts Assistant to join our busy Parts Department. This is a full-time temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and booking in stock deliveries
- Allocating stock within the Ibcos management system
- Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas
- Distributing parts to customers and workshop jobs
- Processing invoices and related paperwork
- Ordering stock and assisting with regular stock takes
- Serving customers at the trade counter and handling telephone enquiries
- Taking customer payments when required
- Identifying and sourcing parts using the latest parts software
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe stores environment
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties within the department
Requirements
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- GCSEs or equivalent qualification preferred
