We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Dental Nurse to lead our dental team in Dover.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists, managing clinical operations, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the practice.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Manage patient appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling and efficient workflow
- Oversee the organisation and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide high-quality patient care, including pre- and post-treatment advice
- Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and explain treatment procedures clearly
- Ensure the practice adheres to all relevant health, safety, and infection control standards
- Support the training of new staff members or interns as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong patient care skills with excellent communication abilities in English
- Knowledge of nursing practices within a dental setting
- Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, colleagues, and external providers
- Relevant qualifications in dental nursing recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC) or equivalent regulatory body

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
