Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dumper/Roller Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to facilitate various construction projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial driving and mechanical knowledge to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments.
Duties
- Operate dumpers and rollers safely and efficiently across different construction sites.
- Assist with the transportation and distribution of materials using appropriate machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential faults.
- Support the operation of excavators when required, ensuring smooth coordination between machines.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations during daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly operating dumpers, rollers, or similar machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance checks.
- Experience with excavators is desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
- Valid driving licence suitable for heavy machinery operation.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures on construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.

Pay: £19.00-£20.00 per hour
