HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per year, with achievable bonuses
Shift Patterns Available: Monday-Friday | 4 on / 4 off | Tramping
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers to join a leading UK vehicle logistics company. If you have a proven track record driving HGV Class 1 vehicles and enjoy working across the country, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
As an HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving HGV Class 1 car transporters across the UK
- Loading and unloading cars and vans safely and professionally
- Carrying out pre-load vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Delivering vehicles to dealerships, auctions, ports, compounds, and businesses nationwide
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
- Ensuring compliance with drivers' hours, tachograph regulations, and company procedures
The Person:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Proven experience driving car transporters is essential
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 points for minor driving offences
- Professional, customer-focused approach
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
