Our head office is based in Team Valley, Gateshead with long term contracts secured working under the Warm Homes: Social Housing & Warm Homes: Local Grant schemes. Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly organised and dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee our solar roofing and scaffolding installations across the South East area, covering North Essex, Barking & Dagenham and Basingstoke area.
The right candidate must have exemplary customer service skills and ability to engage well with clients and subcontractors, ensuring that projects are completed on time in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all activities for the solar roofing project.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections and post-work compliance checks to ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Support customers, particularly vulnerable individuals, throughout the installation process.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts and maintain updated site folders.
Experience
- At least 4 year supervision experience
- Knowledge of solar would be desirable
- Electrical knowledge would be desirable
- CDM / Health & Safety knowledge
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card - Mandatory
- SMSTS/ SSSTS - Mandatory
- Level 3 First Aid at Work Certificate - Mandatory
- Basic Scaffolding Inspection
- Asbestos Awareness - preferrable
- Manual Handling - preferrable
- COSHH Awareness – preferrable
- Working at Height Awareness – preferrable
- Full UK Driving licence
