Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Stock Control)
Reports to: Goods In & Stock Control Manager
Location: Trowbridge
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours / week Mon to Fri 0730 to 1600 (1 Saturday in 4 weeks)

Key Responsibilities
Stock Control
- Helping to maintain good stock accuracy across all areas and retail transfer orders
- Ensuring stock is stored in the correct locations and reporting any missing, damaged or misplaced stock
- Supporting Goods In checking deliveries, shortages, damages and incorrect items
- Helping to maintain accurate stock records through correct ticketing, barcoding and system updates
- Investigating and reporting stock discrepancies to the Stock Control Manager
- Assisting with regular stock checks and stock takes as required
Goods In
- Handling goods with great care when unloading vehicles
- Checking supplier deliveries against system
- Reporting any damages or shortages of goods to the Stock Control Manager
- Filling in the Goods In Tracker with the relevant information
Storage of the Goods
- Ensuring all goods are ticketed and barcoded in the correct manner
- Ensuring the stock is processed, priced and put away
- Reporting any discrepancies to the Stock Control Manager
- Assisting with Home Deliveries when required
- Following company procedures at all times and maintaining a safe working environment by keeping the Warehouse clean and tidy
- Ensuring that all administration is carried out accurately and effectively in line with company procedures
- Ensuring the warehouse maintains the highest possible standards in terms of product handling and good housekeeping, keeping stock damage to an absolute minimum
- Performing any additional warehouse duties that may reasonably be required
