We are looking for a HGV Class 2 driver to join our team on a self employed basis, hours are 7:30 to 16:30 (Paid 9 hours a day) can range from 4/5 days a week. We have a range of HGV's 7.5 ton DAF Skip Lorry, 18Ton Volvo Skip Lorry & 32 ton Hook Lorry.
Job Role:
Deliver & Collect skips from our various sites, predominately Gloucestershire based but we do cover further afield. To clean and wash your lorry when required, To be able to fill out generic paper work for tipping. To safely check over your vehicle before and during your working day. Must be willing to get out of the lorry and do general collections with other team members when required.
- Valid HGV Class 2 license (CPC in date) with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to handle large vehicles confidently and safely
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading
Pay will depend on experience, our yard is based in gloucester GL4.
Pay: £19.00-£21.00 per hour
