The Role
We are seeking experienced Working at Height Test and Inspection Operatives ONLY to join our expanding team. This is a site-based role, with the majority of work carried out in London, but you must be fully willing to work away from home and cover other UK regions as required.
You will be responsible for planned maintenance, testing, and inspections on safety-critical Work at Height equipment, including safety lines, handrails, and abseil systems.
Please Note: Only applicants with proven Work at Height experience will be considered.
Shifts include daytime, evening, and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, testing, and safety inspections on Work at Height systems.
- Install, inspect, and maintain safety lines, handrails, and abseil systems.
- Work safely and effectively with team members to complete projects.
- Travel extensively across the UK — overnight stays will be required.
- Accurately record all inspections and maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills & Qualifications (Experienced Applicants Only)
- Proven experience in the Work at Height industry (mandatory).
- Physically fit and confident working at height.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent time management; punctual and reliable.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and away from home.
- Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- IPAF (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).
- PASMA (Mobile Access Towers).
- Additional Work at Height operational experience.
- Training in the use of harnesses and lanyards.
