We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Global Event Director to join our international events team, working across our portfolio of events throughout APAC and EMEA.
As a lean and fast-moving business, this role reflects the level of ownership people have over their events rather than the size of the team they manage. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, building relationships and working across the full event lifecycle.
You will work as part of the conference organising team and collaborate closely with sales and marketing to help ensure each event is well organised, commercially successful and delivers a strong experience for speakers, sponsors, partners and attendees.
The role also includes regular international travel to cities such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manila, Madrid, Stockholm, Paris and Amsterdam.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong experience in B2B conferences, exhibitions, corporate events or a similar commercial events environment.
You should be:
- Experienced in coordinating multiple events or projects and working across competing deadlines
- Commercially aware, with an interest in sponsorship, delegate growth and client retention
- Confident building relationships with speakers, sponsors, partners and senior professionals
- Calm, practical and comfortable solving problems during live events
- A clear communicator who works well across different departments
- Digitally confident, with experience using event platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools or similar technology
- Comfortable using AI tools to support research, content development, productivity and workflow efficiency, while checking outputs carefully
Experience working on international events would be an advantage.
French or Spanish language skills are preferred, although not essential.
