Holmes Catering Equipment Solutions is looking for a Bench Joiner Apprentice to join our workshop team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn to manufacture high-quality counters, cabinets, and bespoke joinery for major UK brands.
No experience needed – just a great attitude and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learning to cut, shape and assemble timber and boards into finished products
- Working alongside experienced joiners in a busy workshop
- Using hand tools and machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Assisting in the manufacture of counters, cabinets, and shopfitting items
- Reading basic drawings and following instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
What We’re Looking For
- Interested in working with your hands and building things
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople
- GCSEs (Maths and English preferred but not essential)
No previous experience required – full training provided.
