Eldon Tool and Engineering Ltd is a stimulating and challenging place to work and we are looking for a skilled conscientious person who has experience in manual/CNC milling, manual turning & surface grinding to produce high quality prototype products and tooling to engineering drawings ideally from a toolroom type background.
You will be working closely with Engineering and Design departments and have input into the development of new projects and manufacturing processes.
The Role:
· To produce prototype products for the development and testing of new innovative automotive products
· To produce jigs and fixtures to aid production
· Undertake any necessary training to help with self-development
Required Skills:
· Previous experience of working in a toolroom environment
· Experience of manual/CNC milling, turning & surface grinding
· CNC experience would be advantageous but not required
· Ability to problem solve & come up with solutions
· Good Team Player
· To be motivated with a “can do” attitude.
· Have some automotive interest or understanding but not essential
Location: Sheffield – Don Valley area
Hours: 37 Hours per week Mon – Fri. Working hours to be discussed at interview.
