IPM Group UK is recruiting professional and reliable SIA-licensed Door Supervisors to work at licensed premises across Chesterfield.
As a Door Supervisor, you will help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, employees and members of the public. You must be confident dealing with challenging situations while maintaining a calm, professional and customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises and everyone within them.
- Monitor and control entry to the venue.
- Conduct searches in accordance with venue procedures and licensing requirements.
- Check identification and support the venue’s age-verification policy.
- Carry out regular internal and external patrols.
- Identify and respond to suspicious, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.
- Manage disturbances and conflict calmly and professionally.
- Assist with the safe removal of individuals when necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents and requests for assistance.
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons.
- Work closely with venue management, colleagues and emergency services.
- Complete accurate incident reports and other required documentation.
- Follow all company policies, venue procedures and lawful management instructions.
Essential Requirements
- A valid frontline SIA Door Supervisor licence.
- The legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, confident and approachable manner.
- Strong observation and decision-making abilities.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliability and good timekeeping.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- The physical ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods.
Previous experience in door supervision, licensed security or a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential, as venue-specific guidance and support will be provided.
