Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation tasks and uphold food safety standards at all times
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest enjoyment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or dietary needs
- Handle basic math calculations for billing, payments, and change accurately
- Uphold health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles that demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of upselling strategies to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
