Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our caring team in Bourne. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality care by ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Collect and sort laundry items from residents and staff.
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned, dried, folded, and stored appropriately.
- Maintain hygiene standards and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies.
- Assist with general cleaning duties as required.
- Support the team in maintaining a welcoming environment for residents.
- Follow all company policies regarding infection control and confidentiality.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or similar settings is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of hygiene standards and health & safety regulations.
- Compassionate attitude towards elderly residents.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation.

- The role is for a two week rolling rota 15 hours Week 1 (3 days), and 20 Hours week 2 (4 days)
