We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Team Member to join our dedicated team at Wild Rose Holiday Park. As part of the team, you’ll be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and excellent condition of our facilities, grounds, holiday homes, and hire fleet. This is a hands-on role, offering a varied range of tasks, all aimed at creating a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of holiday homes, ensuring utilities and amenities are in excellent working condition. Address any issues promptly.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain and repair public facilities such as bathrooms, common areas, and recreational spaces.
Utility Systems: Inspect and maintain essential utilities (water, sewage, and electrical systems), assisting with troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing maintenance-related concerns and offering assistance with holiday home features.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and promptly report any safety hazards to the Maintenance Manager.
Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to complete tasks efficiently, contributing to a well-functioning maintenance department.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and materials used, supporting the preparation of reports and preventive maintenance schedules.
Skills and Experience:
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, slabbing and general maintenance tasks.
Proficiency in using common hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
