Restore Commercial Solutions Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at Filwood Community Centre, Barnstaple Road, Bristol BS4 1JP.
Position Details
- Hours: 15 hours per week during school term time (39 weeks per year)
- School Holidays: 6 hours per week (2 x 3-hour cleans)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Shift Options:
- 6:00am – 9:00am, or
- 4:00pm – 7:00pm
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
This is a term-time focused position within a busy community centre and educational setting. During school holidays, cleaning requirements reduce to 6 hours per week. However, holiday entitlement can be taken during these periods, helping to maintain a more consistent level of pay throughout the year.
Duties Include
- Cleaning classrooms and communal areas
- Wiping desks and tables
- Dusting window ledges and surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washrooms
- Emptying bins
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is essential
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to undergo one)
