Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Gardener on a part-time or full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance. The successful candidate will be involved in various outdoor projects, assisting with garden care, landscape work, and the utilisation of hand tools and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist with garden and landscape maintenance tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Operate hand tools such as spades, shears, and rakes to carry out gardening duties
- Use power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and soil preparation
- Help with the setup and ongoing care of plant displays and garden features
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is desirable
- A genuine interest in gardening and outdoor work
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential
