We support education sites across Oxfordshire, and we're now looking to build a team of reliable, experienced Relief Chefs ready for the new term. The Role: You'll be supporting education settings across Oxfordshire, providing high-quality catering services in professional kitchen environments.
The work offers:
- Monday to Friday
- Daytime shifts (typically between 7:00am and 4:00pm)
- Ongoing work throughout term time
- A variety of sites across Oxfordshire
- Opportunities ranging from Chef de Partie through to Chef Manager level
As a Relief Chef, you'll be expected to:
- Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals to a high standard
- Work confidently within established kitchen teams
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and Health & Safety standards
- Adapt quickly to different kitchens and menus
- Support smooth daily kitchen operations
- Deliver a professional and reliable service every shift
We're looking for chefs who:
- Have at least 2 years' professional kitchen experience
- Can confidently work independently or as part of a team
- Are organised, reliable and adaptable
- Hold a good understanding of food hygiene and allergen management
- Have their own chef whites, safety shoes and knives
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Reliable transport is highly desirable due to the location of many sites
