As a Regional Coffee Specialist the role combines coffee expertise, training, coaching, quality control, and operational support. You'll be responsible for supporting bakery teams consistently deliver exceptional coffee while sharing your passion and knowledge with both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and coach bakery teams to prepare coffee to a high standard.
- Support and develop Head Baristas across the South region.
- Ensure coffee quality and consistency in all bakeries.
- Fine-tune and maintain coffee machines and grinders to achieve the perfect espresso.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Support food preparation standards.
- Maintain high operational and housekeeping standards.
- Assist bakery management teams when required.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Support your home bakery management and team
Skills and Qualities
- Strong passion for coffee and specialty coffee culture.
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring others.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- High standards and attention to detail.
- Technical knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and coffee equipment.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to travel within the region and work across multiple sites.
- Positive, energetic, and inspiring leadership style.
