Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Housekeeper to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our serviced apartment accommodation. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanour, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The working hours are 3 days as required between Monday - Friday.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet specified standards
- Change bed linens and organise laundry as required
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials
- Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and free of dirt or stains
- Maintain organisation of storage areas and cleaning equipment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks including carpet or upholstery cleaning if necessary
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with guests when needed
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to different schedules and tasks as required
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending
