KDH PROJECTS are a construction company based in the food industry. We work all over the UK building and refurbing food factories.
We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join the team and become a vital link in taking our materials directly to our customers’ sites!
This energetic role offers the opportunity to navigate busy routes, deliver essential goods efficiently, and become part of the team! We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive on movement, enjoy driving, and take pride in ensuring timely deliveries.
If you have a TACHO and HGV license this would be beneficial to your application!
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including flatbed trucks with trailers and a lorry, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Plan optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Interact professionally with our clients upon delivery, providing friendly service and communicating with fellow employees.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving background
- Familiarity with flatbed truck operation and securing loads safely during transit
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) and HGV license would be beneficial
- Ability to operate manual or automatic transmission vehicles comfortably
- Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year

- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), ICDL Foundation (preferred)
