About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading by example. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in developing service standards, coaching team members, and ensuring every guest receives a warm, friendly and memorable experience.
You will be a visible presence on the floor, supporting the team during busy service periods, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping create a culture where outstanding customer service is at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Champion exceptional customer service across all areas of the eatery.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent hospitality and guest engagement.
- Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.
- Handle customer feedback, concerns and complaints professionally, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
Team Leadership & Development
- Support, motivate and coach team members to deliver consistently high service standards.
- Deliver customer service training and ongoing coaching sessions.
- Assist with onboarding and induction of new team members.
- Recognise and celebrate excellent performance within the team.
- Promote a positive, collaborative and customer-focused culture.
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in conducting performance reviews such as staff annual appraisals, probation reviews etc.
- Encourage and drive team engagement with socials.
- Provide support to the Food & Beverage Manager with Absence Management, team challenges and HR procedures
Operational Support
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager with the day-to-day operation of the eatery.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure company policies, procedures and service standards are consistently followed.
- Monitor cleanliness, presentation and overall guest environment.
- Support with stock management, ordering and operational checks where required.
- Helping to organise/ run events ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction being at the forefront of this.
- Ensuring the availability of products or stock that is being advertised to avoid guest disappointment.
Performance & Standards
- Monitor service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Help implement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction, repeat visits and positive reviews.
- Support the achievement of departmental KPIs and business objectives.
- Ensure health and safety, food safety and compliance standards are maintained at all times.

- Has previous experience in a hospitality, café, restaurant or customer service supervisory role.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can confidently lead, motivate and develop a team.
- Remains calm and positive under pressure.
- Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Has a hands-on approach and enjoys working alongside the team.
- Is flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.
