Commercial Cleaner – Tanning Salon
Location: Stokes Bishop, Bristol
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Approximately 1 hour per day, 7 days per week
Schedule: Either before 7:00am or after 10:00pm each day (to fit around the salon's opening hours). Keys will be provided.
About the Role
ESTA Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable and detail orientated Commercial Cleaning Operative to maintain a high-end tanning salon to an exceptional standard. This is an independent role, perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working without supervision.
The daily clean takes approximately 1 hour and must be completed either before 7:00am or after 10:00pm, ensuring the salon is spotless and ready for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Duties:
- Thoroughly clean all tanning beds (tops, bottoms, sides and ends)
- Clean and sanitise protective goggles (ensuring two pairs are available in each room)
- Empty and replace bin liners
- Clean mirrors throughout the salon
- Wipe down chairs and seating areas
- Vacuum and mop all floors
- Clean internal glass doors
- Wipe and sanitise the customer booking kiosk
- Replenish paper towels where required
- Check Bluetooth speakers are working in each tanning cabin
- Inspect walls for lotion marks or scuffs and remove where possible
- Reset the fingerprint entry system and booking kiosk if required
Weekly/Periodic Duties:
- Replenish tanning lotions and cleaning spray bottles
- Clean skirting boards
- Dust and clean the tops of tanning beds
- Clean cabin door frames
- Clean window sills
- Dust reception plants
- Clean the reception television
- Dust reception light fittings
- Clean the glass surrounding the flower feature wall
- Clean wall tiles and mirrors
- Carry out basic checks on tanning beds to identify any blown tubes and report any maintenance issues

- Trustworthy and responsible, as keyholder access will be provided
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
