Joiner / Carpenter – Wall & Door Protection Installation
About the Role
Harrison Thompson & Co. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner/Carpenter to join our growing Yeoman Shield Wall & Door Protection installation team.
This role involves the installation of our market-leading range of wall and door protection products across a variety of commercial environments throughout the UK. We are seeking a reliable, skilled individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Install Yeoman Shield wall and door protection products to a high standard.
- Work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
- Fabricate and fit components accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out site-based installation work across the UK.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Undertake any training required to support the role.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in joinery and/or carpentry.
- Strong practical knowledge of joinery techniques and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry (minimum requirement).
- Valid Skilled CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence (must meet motor insurance eligibility criteria requirements)
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home Monday to Friday when required.
- Own hand tools.

Working Hours
- Full-time, permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 2 year of Joinery experience. (preferred)
- Minimum 2 year of Carpentry experience. (preferred)
Location
- Based in Leeds or within 12 mile radius with nationwide travel.
- Work carried out on-site across the UK.
