Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, clean, and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces
- Help with organizing supplies and ensuring ingredients are stored properly
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
