We are a small, well-established private practice seeking a reliable and enthusiastic part time dental nurse to join our close-knit team.

The Role
This is a part time position for 2 days per week. You will support the dentist in all aspects of clinical care while helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Support patients with their queries, offering reassurance and clear communication throughout their visit.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, organising patient flow and reducing waiting times.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations within the practice.
- Support administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies as needed.
- You may be required to cover at our sister practice on occasions so own transport would be an advantage
Experience
- Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of patient care practices, with excellent communication skills in English.
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate confidently with patients and team members. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to develop their career in dental healthcare within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £13.15-£14.50 per hour
