Preschool Assistant / Key Carer / Early Years Foundation Practitioner
Hours: This role at the preschool will be 7:45am-3:15pm Tuesday and Thursday (Term time only)
We are a small preschool based in a village church providing a warm and friendly learning environment. Located in Charlton, Andover, we provide fantastic learning opportunities through our rich indoor and large outdoor spaces for children between 2yrs 6mths and up to 5 years of age.
The setting was last inspected by Ofsted in 2025 and was rated as ‘Good’.
We are currently looking to recruit a preschool assistant to work as a key carer and as part of the preschool team under the direction of the manager. To provide safe, high-quality education and care for young children which meets the individual needs of children attending the setting.

Experience required
· Level 3 early years education childcare qualification or equivalent.
· Previous experience of working with young children.
· Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
· Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
· Good communication skills.
· A commitment to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding and equal opportunities.
· Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferable but not essential).
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
