We are a growing engineering consultancy providing engineering support to groundworks and civil engineering contractors across the UK. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Site Engineer/ Junior Engineer to join our team on a project near Rugby, with the opportunity to progress onto other ongoing project
This role is ideal for an engineer looking to develop their career within a company where they will receive support, mentoring, and genuine opportunities for progression.
Responsibilities
- Setting out for kerbs, foundations, drainage and external works.
- Carrying out QA inspections and maintaining quality records.
- Producing accurate as-built surveys.
- Checking works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Liaising with site management and subcontractors.
- Maintaining daily site records and engineering documentation.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Site Engineer within groundworks or civil engineering.
- Competent using Trimble or Leica GPS and Total Station equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with QA documentation and as-built records.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS Card (essential).
Desirable
- Experience in civils, roads and sewers, external works or infrastructure projects.
- AutoCAD experience desirable
