Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure timely service and high standards of quality
- Support the kitchen team in food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks under supervision, following established recipes and procedures
- Help with catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing food stations efficiently
- Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and operational
- Support serving staff during busy periods by delivering food to tables and assisting with customer needs
- Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for staff and guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
