Overview
Pure Finish NW are specialist spray finishers covering Manchester, Cheshire and the wider North West. We deliver factory-quality finishes for kitchens, uPVC, joinery and commercial properties, all backed by our 10-year guarantee.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Spray Finisher to join us on a self-employed, day-rate basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead from the front: prepping and spraying to a flawless standard, while managing and training a small team to work to that same level.
Please note the work is variable. Some weeks are a full six days, others may be three, depending on workload. Pay is on a per-day basis.
What you'll be doing
- Leading spray finishing jobs from start to finish, covering prep, masking, application and finishing across kitchens and uPVC
- Working independently on site and taking full ownership of the quality of each job
- Managing a small team of sprayers, training and mentoring them, and making sure every job is completed to a high standard
- Speaking with customers on site in a polite, professional and friendly manner
- Maintaining spray equipment, including cleaning, basic calibration and troubleshooting
- Keeping the work area safe, clean and organised, and following all relevant health & safety practices
- Travelling to jobs across the North West, and occasionally further afield depending on our requirements
- Driving the company van to jobs when needed
What we're looking for
- Proven lead spraying experience. We will ask to see evidence of work you have completed, via images or videos
- The ability to work independently and take charge of a job without close supervision
- Experience managing or training others
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in delivering a flawless finish
- Confident, polite and professional when dealing with customers
- A full UK driving licence, as you'll travel to jobs and occasionally drive the company van
- Willingness to travel around the North West, and occasionally further out based on the company's requirements
- Good knowledge of health & safety relevant to spray finishing
- Experience with kitchens or uPVC is highly desirable
Additonal Information
- Self-employed, day-rate basis
- Variable work pattern, typically 3-6 days per week depending on workload
- Based around Oldham, with travel to jobs across the North West
Pay: £200.00 per day
