We are currently looking for a dedicated School Crossing Patrol officer in Norton who wants to make a real difference to their local community.
The Role
Our school crossing patrols keep children and adults safe on their daily school journeys, providing a vital service to the local community.
Duty times: Monday–Friday 8.10am-8.55am and 15.15-15.50pm (6.40 hrs per week)
Your duties will include:
- Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times
- Stop traffic using the official ‘STOP’ sign
- Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site
- Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer
- Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment
