Growing Holiday Camp looking for an experienced, caring and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Hours: School holidays only
Contract Type: Casual / Zero Hours
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Main Responsibilities:
Supervising staff and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the camp
Planning and organising engaging activities before the holiday camp starts
Preparing activity timetables, resources and equipment in advance of camp delivery
Supporting children with a range of SEND needs including autism, ADHD and communication difficulties
Leading activities and ensuring children remain engaged and safe
Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Supporting with behaviour management using positive approaches
Liaising professionally with parents, carers and external professionals
Assisting with staff briefings and daily organisation
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEND
Experience supervising or leading a team
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
Calm, patient and flexible approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
Desirable:
SEN qualifications or relevant training
Experience within holiday camps, schools or care settings
First Aider
