We have opportunities for plumbing candidates with experience in housing repairs to join our Building Services team.
You will be working as part of a team helping to provide an efficient, responsive, high quality repairs service to our customers in and around the York area, alongside administrative support.
As one of the first points of contact to our customers you will be dealing with a large volume of reactive plumbing repairs and will need to have excellent plumbing skills along with good communication and customer service skills to deliver a consistent positive customer experience.
You should possess a high attention to detail to ensure repairs are carried out to a high-quality standard and delivered in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
Part of this role will require liaison with contractors and tradespersons to arrange for materials and follow on works around your workload.
Training will be provided in using the IT system that appoints work daily and records productivity of your working week.
There is a requirement to carry out standby duties on a weekly basis on a monthly rota carrying emergency repairs out of hours.
